Don't Really Have A Topic

so yeah, im pretty much bored right now, meaning that i can either go to sleep (eeeww) or i can add to the blogosphere in my own little way. i have been reading since around midnight, from the new terry goodkind book, Chainfire, and its pretty interesting. ive read like three hundred pages without stopping; i cant remember the last time i did that in one sitting, or even havin the time to do that in one sitting. i havent played any music in like three days. this sucks. well, more musical opportunities will present themselves in the coming semester, heres hoping, so theres no worries there yet. i do need to procure a job this next semester for reals for reals. i need to actually have some job experience...
i have finished like two books since i have been home. i finished the tim powers book ben got me for christmhanustolstikwanzikah, and then i finished stepehn king's on writing. im about to finish an 800 page fantasy novel, and then start an anthology of vampire stories (anne rice). on top of this i have perused the photo collection of nickolas zinner called i hope you are all happy now. it was pretty interesting...hes the guitar player for yeah yeah yeahs, bright eyes, and blood brothers. he apparently took a camera along and took random picture of his lifestyle on the road, so theres like two sections of audience members, a section of places hes been, a section on wounds sustained on tour (not good for the drummers pictured), and a couple more sections that illustrate his life on the road as a musician. all in all its a pretty interesting book. theres a couple of essays included from outside people, an extensive (and sometimes boring) interview of him included in all this, and a few other little random interesting things. the picture at the start of the post is YYY and their openers The Jays waiting in a Nagoya Train Station.
i wish now that i had taken a digital photography class while it was being offered at oglethorpe. seeing all those lovely pictures of structured chaos (oh noes! i sound like someone on livejournal!) make me wish i had experimented some, as i try to leave a class open every semester for one experimental class, a "just for the fuck of it" style course. but then again, i wasted that this semester on having no class.
well, im gonna peruse wikipedia now...oh noes! no sleep in sight!
z out
